Maintec 2010 stand A12

02-04 March, 2010, NEC, Birmingham UK

This specialist exhibition will enable you to find out about the latest developments in maintenance management, predictive maintenance and CMMS.

Following a highly succssful 2009 show Holroyd Instruments are looking forward to 2010. Come and see for yourself our product range from SMART sensors thorugh to versatile and easy to use portable CM instruments.

In addition we will again be making presentations at the show entitled :-

'Quick & Simple Condition Monitoring - Maximise Return on Minimum Investment'
Tuesday 2 March (12:15 to 12:45)
(a FREE 30 minute Learnshop)

'An Introduction to the use of Acoustic Emission for Machinery Condition Monitoring'
Thursday morning 4 March 2010
BINDT organised event in the Summit Theatre (fee charged)

NEW Ultraspan sensors
- See the true power of AE !

The NEW AE-Ultraspan (wireless) and 24 / 7 Ultraspan (wired) sensors provide an easy route to studying AE for machines and processes. This is because these products are designed to directly output the logarithmically scaled dynamic envelope of the detected AE waveform. Such signals are more convenient to digitise, store and further process than the raw oscillatory signal as detected by a conventional AE transducer or sensor. Analysis of such envelope waveforms can reveal signal magnitudes, durations, shapes, occurrences and timings which depending upon the application may be interpreted in terms of normal or abnormal occurrences.

NEW portable MHC products

MediumClassicPlusMemoLite.gif

NEW MHC-Memo Lite & MHC-Classic Plus portable Condition Monitoring instruments.

MHC-Classic Plus introduces the much acclaimed Super Slo mode of operation together with Standard mode allowing instant fault finding on machinery rotating at speeds down to 0.25 rpm ! Although not a true data logging instrument the MHC-Classic Plus has a 32 measurement non-volatile memory ideal for comparative purposes.

MHC-Memo Lite also has Standard & Super Slo modes but has a 300 point data-logging capability operating in a Points List mode. Its PC interface and easy to use Memo Lite-Vu software enable points to be named, measurement mode to be remembered and historic download data organised so that trend plots are very easily formed in third party spreadsheets.

MHC-Classic Plus & MHC-Memo Lite FEATURES

■ Easy to use.
■ Both models incorporate Standard & Super Slo modes .
■ MHC-Memo Lite introduces 300 point list data logging & very easy to use PC software.
■ MHC-Classic Plus has 32 point non volatile memory.

NEW SMART SENSORS

medium-ds1-sm1.gif

NEW MHC-DS1 & MHC-SM1 smart sensors are a breakthrough in terms of sensor integration since they incorporate, transducer amplification & filtering, signal processing, alarm outputs and analogue outputs. Outputs form these sensors can directly interface to PLC's, SCADA etc and eliminate the need for an instrument. A special PC interface (SI/RT) allows alarm level settings to be stored in their non-volatile memory

MHC-DS1 sensor implements Standard mode processing which is suitable for rotational speeds down to 35 rpm.

MHC-SM1 sensor implements Super Slo mode processing allowing monitoring down to rotational speeds as slow as 0.25 rpm (that's 4 minutes per revolution !)

MHC-DS1 & MHC-SM1 FEATURES

■ Easy & Quick to install to get 24/7 monitoring.
■ Dual alarms with hold-off - able to directly drive LED indicator lights.
■ Dual analogue outputs for trending.
■ Direct connection of sensor outputs to PLC, SCADA etc. - eliminate the need for an instrument
■ More sensitive to machine degradation than overall vibration sensors.
